DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be hosting first aid courses in Walthamstow, London. There is plenty of free parking onsite and refreshments are included. Our first aid courses in East London are very popular with schools and businesses and therefore book early as places are limited.\nThis one-day emergency first aid course is designed to provide you with the emergency first aid skills to look after a casualty at work. It is suitable for smaller and lower risk workplaces. \nOur first aid courses are supportive and flexible to adapt to your workplace needs. All our highly skilled tutors are very experienced teachers with a fresh, fun and friendly approach to delivering first aid. Our unique Act Fast First games and activities have been designed for you to leave our courses feeling highly skilled and confident first aiders and ready to act fast first in an emergency.\nCOURSE DESCRIPTION: \nThe  Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covers the following:\n\n\n 	Roles and Responsibilities of the first aider\n 	Minimising risk in an emergency situation\n 	Safe Accident Procedures\n 	Safe Airway Positions\n 	Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of AEDs\n 	Dealing with Choking\n 	Treatment for bleeding and Shock\n 	Appropriate First Aid Kit Use\n 	Completing Accident Forms\n\nCourse Duration & Assessment: The qualification consists of one unit. The training and assessment typically consists of a one day (6+ hour) course leading to the qualification and students are assessed continuously by tutor observation of ‘real-life’ skills which have been benchmarked to National Occupational Standards.\nThis certificate is valid for three years. Certificate renewal is by completion of another Emergency First Aid at Work training course.
