This course also provides you with information on the support that is available to help signpost your colleagues to if necessary. \nCOURSE DESCRIPTION: \n\nRecognising possible signs and symptoms of a person that has mental ill-health or is suffering with stress in the workplace\nUnderstanding mental health and its stigmas\nHaving conversations with colleagues who may be experiencing poor mental health\nUsing a mental health plan to help those in crisis or need\nFinding external professional help and guidance\nThe law in relation to mental health and the workplace\nBest practice when helping someone to stay in work or return to work\nUnderstanding of more complex mental health conditions\nPromoting well-being in the workplace and how you can become an Ambassador for Mental Health in your team\nInformation on self-care to aid prevention to help others and yourself\n\nThe course is delivered over one day and you will receive a certificate of attendance. All our trainers are highly experienced in this area and you will be made to feel at ease when discussing any sensitive subjects or issues that may have affected you personally.\n
