This one-day Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to provide you with the emergency first aid skills to look after a casualty at work. It is suitable for smaller and lower risk workplaces.
Our first aid courses are supportive and flexible to adapt to your workplace needs. All our highly skilled tutors are very experienced teachers with a fresh, fun and friendly approach to delivering first aid. Our unique Act Fast First games and activities have been designed for you to leave our courses feeling highly skilled and confident first aiders and ready to act fast first in an emergency.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covers the following:
- Roles and responsibilities of the first aider
- Minimising risk in an emergency situation
- Safe accident procedures
- Safe airway positions
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of AEDs
- Dealing with Choking
- Managing a casualty in seizure
- Treatment for bleeding and shock
- First aid for burns
- Common minor injuries in the workplace
- Appropriate first aid kits and equipment
- Completing accident forms

Smaller Schools & Workplaces
Course Duration & Assessment:
The training and assessment typically consists of a one day (6+ hour) course.
Students are assessed continuously by tutor observation of ‘real-life’ skills in a friendly and supportive way. There are no written tests to complete at the end of the course as the outcomes are assessed by demonstration of practical first aid in our fun and interactive scenario-based approach throughout the day.
This certificate is valid for three years and certificate renewal is by completion of another Emergency First Aid at Work training course.

We recognise that people take on many roles in a workplace and therefore, to save you time and money, we can give you the option of combining a number of courses ensuring you have the appropriate first aid skills for the activities and roles you are participating in. The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work can also be combined and added to the following courses:
